ITE Hong Kong 2020 - the 34th ITE leisure & 15th ITE MICE

Theme Travel Fair for Affluent Travelers & Regional Trade

Highlighting theme & Mice travels, ITE Hong Kong, the city’s only (1) travel fair with (2) two separate periods for Trade and Public visitors, covering (3) three segments of Regional Trade, MICE and well off FIT! Held annually, it is a one stop platform for channel and/or retail sale, trade and public promotions, and networking!

ITE Hong Kong 2019 held as planned amid city-wide Protests  Hemmed in by 3 successive large scale protests in the city on extradition legislation respectively on the previous Sunday (June 9), the day before opening (June 12) and its last day (June 16), it being held as planned, but numbers of trade visitor dropped 6.8% and public 18.2%!

Admission in trade days require registration with business card. Among the 11,613 buyers & trade visitors, 15.6% from MICE; 26%% from mainland China and 11% overseas; 73665 public visitors and from past survey 84% FIT! This year, more trade visitors came from mainland China and abroad.

There are 56 participating countries and regions over half from outside Asia!  None of the 675 exhibitor (141 MICE related and overall 87% from abroad) withdraw and are satisfied with quality and quantity of trade and public visitors!

Pavilions from Asia are often regular exhibitors and larger with China at 110 booths and Japan at 80 booths the two largest. New destinations this year from Botswana, Madagascar, Somalia, Morocco, Tunisia; Colombia, Ecuador, Peru; Moscow, Spain, Cyprus, Czech: Almaty of Kazakhstan, India and Myanmar.

Widely available in individual stand or pavilions are travel products of over 10 themes such as Cruise (eg. In Hong Kong Pavilion), Green / Sport Tourism (eg. Switzerland and Myanmar pavilions), Adventure, Culture and Gourmet etc.,

Our B2B program include Business Matching for quick-dating between sellers and buyers; over 30 trade seminars of which 8 related to MICE; and free online promotion and registration of exhibitor’s own trade seminar etc.  Our B2C program in public days are for example nearly 100 travel seminars many with some 100 audiences to facilitate visitor planning holiday; round the clock cultural performances brought in by respectively tourism boards etc.
