My Cruise Journey
Read More...
Cruises are often labelled as boring or seen as something only older travellers would enjoy. More often than not, such views come from people who have yet to truly understand what a cruise holiday can offer. Once you choose a ship that suits your style and an itinerary that matches your interests, you may find yourself instantly captivated — starting with sailings from Hong Kong, and perhaps soon moving on to fly-cruise holidays departing from overseas.
Asuka Lam is a seasoned cruise traveller — in fact, a true cruise enthusiast. From sailing the world with his mother as a child to travelling today with fellow cruise lovers, he has built up years of knowledge and experience at sea. He can readily share the unique selling points of different cruise brands, as well as recommendations for a wide range of destinations and itineraries.
In this talk, he will begin from the perspective of cruises departing from Hong Kong, introducing a number of headline-making ships, their onboard facilities, itineraries, and the distinct character of each cruise brand. As an experienced cruiser, he is also very familiar with the world of fly-cruise travel. At this time of year, Mediterranean cruises are especially popular — but how do you choose the right one?
Join him as he explains why cruising can be one of the most comfortable and convenient ways to enjoy a holiday.

How to plan student study tours
Read More...
In the wave of whole-person learning, how can educators design an overseas study tour that combines academic learning, values education, and resilience training for students? Overseas field trips are often accompanied by budget constraints, environmental challenges, and safety risks, testing the wisdom and adaptability of frontline educators.
This sharing session will use the “Overseas Climbing Programme – Western Sichuan Study Tour” organised by Lok Sin Tong Wong Chung Ming Secondary School as a practical case study. Frontline teacher leaders will personally explain how, despite limited resources, they guided secondary school students to challenge the Dagu Glacier at an elevation of up to 4,860 metres and complete a 30-kilometre trek through Changping Valley in the Siguniang Mountains, transforming nature into a breathtaking “classroom beneath the snow-capped mountains.”
