色達位於川西高原，若由成都驅車也要10多小時，途經317或318國道，路況不佳，特別是雨後，不時有山石跌下。色達有佛國淨土之稱，平均海拔也有4200米以上，若旅客到訪，要做足高原反應的準備，這地非常值得到此一遊，據悉有5000多間紅色小屋，大部份都是僧人到來修行，日間與晚間景色截然不同，萬家燈火的照耀，蔚為奇觀。

友人不時吐苦水說：「我發誓，以後唔再同阿媽去旅行！」
我深表遺憾兼同情：「我明！我真係明白你嘅感受！」
朋友覺得奇怪，明明我經常帶阿媽去旅行，又拍過相關旅遊節目，理應大家相處融洽。坦白說，除非父母是「順得人」，否則一起去旅行，子女或多或少都會「領教」。以我阿媽為例，她認為去旅行大家應跟她一樣，早上七時前起床，否則浪費時間；去外國坐地鐵轉車，應該像旺角金鐘走過對面月台便是，如果在倫敦地鐵轉車，又上又落會她會感到腳軟；旅遊旺季酒店房價貴但細，如果她付千多元返大陸旅行，住的地方不知多豪華。
解釋過、譅氣過，她始終不太明白，因此過去十年八載，我與兩老出行會避重就輕，希望皆大歡喜，讓我分享我的經驗
