National, regional and municipal tourism boards from various destinations staged specially designed official pavilion or stand. Many have photo corners or instant photo machines now popular among young generations, and interactive game corners. Some host their own performances, workshops or cultural experience sessions like free Thai massage
In ITE this year, in-depth, cultural and city travel, eco-tourism and study tour are promoted through special displays by the organizer, winner displays and prize presentation of two competitions, one on School Adventure and the other Study Tour Route Design, and seminars. There is also a special themed pavilion introducing the Greater Bay Area.
Over 80 trade and public seminars held on the main stage and purpose built rooms inside the exhibition halls, with many hosted by KOLs. Often well attended, the most popular one drew over 500 audiences.
There are a variety of cultural performances on ITE’s grand stage and the pavilions, such as the legendary Lion Dance which performs on 2-meter poles, folk dances, face-changing shows, the Korean “Nanta Show” and performances by cute mascots.
The free flow mode with buyers / visitors walking around booths and stopping at where they feel interested better ensure quality of their discussions with exhibitors. Overall the exhibitors were happy with quality and quantity of business discussions and responses in ITE this year.
This is the first post-pandemic ITE and the first after re-opening of the border. Number of total visitors more than doubled over last year with record attendances. We are glad to see you back at ITE without wearing masks!
ITE’s press conference, media preview, the opening ceremony and the show period were all well attended by media. These result in extensive reporting, print and online, on newspapers, portals and TV.
