"Architecture is made of non-building structure, so studying architecture allows us to see the invisible perfection behind the building. Travelers read architecture with their body and mind, and finally encounter the collective and his own wishes".
Corrin Chan, architect whom had visited Iran twice back in 2018 and 2019, had unveiled the veil of this mysterious country. She visited ancient and modern Iranian architecture with her curious heart. During these journeys, she traveled from the south to the north of Iran, reading architecture emotionally and physically, traveled through thousands of years of time and space, and came into contact with different people and things.
Corrin will share her discoveries with us, from Shiraz to Tehran, including Persepolis of the Persian Empire, Parsagadas, Isafahan which is the metropolis of the empire at that time, Yazd which is an oasis city in the desert, Persian gardens and wind tower buildings, and lesser-known modern Iranian architecture and breakthrough avant-garde architects.
Looking forward to meeting and exploring with you.
